For those who are interested in knowing about proper web design the web site to go to belongs to the World Wide Web Consortium commonly referred to as W3C. The W3C controls the HTML (Hyper Text Markup Language), XHTML (eXtensable Hyper Text Markup Language), CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) and various common codes used for web design and dynamic functionality. For free tutorials on HTML (Hyper Text Markup Language), XHTML (eXtensable Hyper Text Markup Language), CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) "Free Webmaster Help" is a pretty nice web site. They also have various tutorials on other code topics as well as other web site concerns. You may view their web site at

For learning more about the functionality of CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) I highly recommend going to the CSS Zen Garden. This is a web site that welcomes other web designers to recreate the same web site using the HTML but changing images and the CSS for a complete different look and feel. They have a list of wonderful examples of the exact same web site with a huge variety of appearances. You may view their web site at

For those of you who like Adobe Flash for the dynamic text and image content that moves around fading in and out, twisting and turning I would recommend Macromedia Flash Tutorials. This web site has a nice collection of tutorials built up and includes tutorials on ActionScript 3.0 which is the scripting (programming) language which makes Flash so much more dynamic. PHP (Pre Hypertext Protocol) and MySQL are what make E-commerce with dynamic web pages the experience that it has become for the visitor and a lot easier for the web developer. With this combination you can write the code to place web content (product and product information) into a database and when a viewer desires to see it clicks a magic button and the server delivers it to the web page before their eyes. The viewer has no idea what is going on in the background and probably doesn't care. They know they clicked a button saying "TV" and they are now looking at pictures of and information on "TV". JavaScript, CSS and ActionScript are used for visual dynamics on a web site. JavaScript and CSS are used for interactivity such as button rollovers which is the button changing when your cursor moves over it to let you know that at the moment of change you can click the button and expect something to happen. Adobe Flash however uses ActionScript 3.0 to move items around in very visual ornate ways. I have to web sites to mention here the first is Flash & Math which has some very nice tutorials from basic to advanced levels. Their web site is found at The other web site is Action Script Org again this site is great in my opinion with basic as well as advanced level tutorials as well as job listings for Flash developers. By now I am sure some of you are asking why is this guy giving away all this information? An informed customer can make informed decisions which can be a big help to me. Through viewing the content of these web sites they will walk away with a concept of what I am going through to design and make their web site. This is not an easy task, there is a lot of learning to do to be able to properly create such a marketing tool which is attractive, functional and problem free.
